I have always been fascinated by the sea and the beauty of the world beneath its surface. Its creatures, shapes and textures are a constant source of inspiration for me.
For MARE, I was drawn to the sea urchin shell, with its natural symmetry and delicate patterns. Protected by a crown of spines, yet soft within, it reminds me that strength and vulnerability can exist together.
I wanted to bring this beauty into jewellery, combining 18k gold with natural Bahraini pearls, precious treasures from the waters of Bahrain.
